Twinkle D
- Twinkle D is a song that is deceptively difficult. The children know this song which exemplifies the power of listening. Since, they know it, they play the notes much faster. However, the tone of this song must be mastered through a heavier hand than the other three twinkles.
- Tell the children to pretend their hand is a spider. A spider always has at least one foot on the floor at all times. We are searching for a legato tone that never stops ringing.
- A common mistake in Twinkle D is the child’s desire to make every not equal, rhythmically. Make sure the words of the song are sung aloud as the child practices.
