Contact Me
My name is Lindsey Butters and I am a native of Salt Lake City. I and my husband and two daughters moved to the Denver area in 2006 and found a home in Stapleton. I started taking piano lessons with Cleo Brimhall in the Salt Lake Area when I was eight years old and studied with her for 10 years. Her Suzuki Piano Basics studio led me through the pedagogy that is Suzuki.
Together we played in music festivals and traveled to Suzuki Music Institutes. While a senior in high school, I started to study voice and was a part of Madrigals in my high school. In college, I decided to shift gears and major in Anthropology all the while taking college level music theory courses.
Now I have come full circle to my musical roots! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach children here in Denver. I specialize in teaching children ages 3-8. My teaching style is largely play based with an emphasis on fun and friendship. It is my hope that my students will feel a sense of community within the walls of my studio and beyond. We are a community of musicians who learn from each other and teach each other. Your children will look forward to one-on-one time with me as well as fun and educational group lessons where they can socialize with fellow music lovers.
